Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Horseford.com and purchases made through the website.

Horseford is operated by:

VilVid LT, MB
Company code: 306678473
Registered address: Chemijos g. 27C-62, LT-51332 Kaunas, Lithuania
Email: help@horseford.com
Website: Horseford.com

Throughout these Terms, “Horseford”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to VilVid LT, MB.

By accessing Horseford.com, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable law.

1. Our Online Store

Horseford operates an online retail store offering equestrian products and related goods, including products that may be personalized, engraved, customized, or made according to customer specifications.

You must provide accurate and complete information when placing an order.

You may not use our website or products for unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel transactions, or restrict access where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, misuse, unlawful conduct, or violations of these Terms.

2. Eligibility to Purchase

By placing an order, you confirm that you:

  • Have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract; or

  • Are acting with the permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information submitted during checkout is correct.

3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, dimensions, specifications, materials, colors, and other information displayed on Horseford.com are accurate.

However, minor variations may occur.

For example:

  • Colors may appear differently depending on your device or screen;

  • Natural materials such as leather may contain variations in texture, grain, or appearance;

  • Handmade products may contain small variations between individual units;

  • Product packaging may occasionally differ from images shown online.

Such reasonable variations do not necessarily constitute a product defect.

This does not affect your statutory rights if a product is defective, materially different from its description, or otherwise does not conform to the sales contract.

4. Personalized and Custom Products

Some Horseford products may be customized using information supplied by you.

Customization may include:

  • Names;

  • Initials;

  • Engraving;

  • Nameplates;

  • Custom text;

  • Size or configuration choices;

  • Other individualized specifications.

You are responsible for checking personalization details carefully before submitting your order.

We will normally manufacture personalized products according to the information entered or confirmed by you.

If the customer provides incorrect spelling, names, initials, measurements, or other personalization information and the product is manufactured correctly according to those instructions, Horseford is generally not responsible for the customer's input error.

This does not affect your rights where Horseford incorrectly produces the item or where the product is defective or otherwise non-conforming.

5. Orders

After you place an order, you may receive an electronic order confirmation.

Receipt of an automated order confirmation does not necessarily mean that we have finally accepted the order.

We may refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • A product is unavailable;

  • Pricing or product information contains an obvious error;

  • Payment cannot be authorized;

  • Fraud or unauthorized activity is suspected;

  • The order violates these Terms or applicable law;

  • We are unable to fulfill the order for another legitimate reason.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will refund the relevant amount.

6. Prices

Prices displayed on Horseford.com will be shown in the applicable currency available through the website.

Unless stated otherwise, the price shown at checkout will be the amount payable for the relevant products, excluding any separately disclosed shipping charges or other charges displayed before the order is submitted.

Where legally required, applicable taxes will be included or calculated and disclosed during checkout.

We may change prices at any time.

Price changes will not normally affect orders that have already been accepted.

7. Pricing Errors

Although we try to keep pricing accurate, errors may occasionally occur.

If a product has been listed at an obviously incorrect price due to a technical, administrative, or other genuine error, we may contact you before accepting or fulfilling the order.

You may then be offered the opportunity to purchase the product at the correct price or cancel the order.

If an affected order is cancelled after payment has been collected, we will refund the applicable payment.

8. Payment

Available payment methods will be displayed during checkout.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors, acquiring banks, payment gateways, or other financial service providers.

By submitting payment information, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

You authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the total amount shown during checkout.

Horseford may use fraud prevention systems or payment verification tools before accepting an order.

We do not necessarily receive or store complete payment card information.

9. Order Confirmation

After successfully submitting an order, you should receive confirmation using the contact information provided during checkout.

It is your responsibility to ensure your email address and other contact details are accurate.

If you do not receive an order confirmation, please contact:

help@horseford.com

10. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping options, estimated processing periods, and estimated delivery periods may be displayed on Horseford.com or during checkout.

Delivery dates and times are generally estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delivery may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

  • Carrier delays;

  • Customs processing;

  • Weather conditions;

  • Public holidays;

  • Transportation disruptions;

  • Incorrect customer information;

  • Unusually high order volumes.

We will comply with any mandatory delivery obligations imposed by applicable consumer law.

Additional information is available in our Shipping Policy.

11. Shipping Address

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Please contact help@horseford.com as quickly as possible if you notice an address error.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has entered fulfillment or production.

Where an order cannot be delivered because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete address, we may charge reasonable additional shipping costs for reshipment where permitted by law.

12. Risk and Ownership

Risk in the products transfers according to applicable consumer law.

For consumer purchases in the European Union, risk will generally transfer when you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, physically receives the goods, subject to any applicable legal exceptions.

Ownership of the goods may remain with Horseford until full payment has been received where permitted by applicable law.

13. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

Eligible consumers may have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase.

For ordinary eligible goods purchased by consumers in the European Union, this generally includes a 14-day withdrawal period.

Certain products may be excluded from the statutory withdrawal right, including goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalized, where the applicable legal requirements are satisfied.

Detailed information about:

  • Withdrawal rights;

  • Personalized products;

  • Returns;

  • Refunds;

  • Exchanges;

  • Defective products;

is provided in our Returns & Refund Policy.

Nothing in these Terms restricts mandatory statutory consumer rights.

14. Defective or Non-Conforming Products

Products must comply with applicable consumer protection requirements.

If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, incorrectly manufactured, or materially different from what was ordered, contact us at:

help@horseford.com

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, remedies may include:

  • Repair;

  • Replacement;

  • Price reduction;

  • Refund.

Any voluntary guarantees offered by Horseford exist in addition to, and do not replace, mandatory statutory rights.

15. Product Availability

Products may occasionally become unavailable after an order is submitted.

If we cannot fulfill your order, we may:

  • Contact you regarding an alternative;

  • Cancel the affected item;

  • Issue an applicable refund.

We are not obligated to supply an unavailable product where doing so is impossible, provided we comply with applicable consumer law.

16. Promotions and Discount Codes

From time to time, Horseford may offer:

  • Discount codes;

  • Promotional prices;

  • Bundles;

  • Limited promotions;

  • Other special offers.

Promotions may be subject to specific terms communicated with the offer.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash;

  • Promotions may not be combinable;

  • A promotion may be limited to certain products, customers, locations, or periods;

  • Promotions may end or change prospectively.

Any promotional restrictions will be applied in accordance with applicable law.

17. Gift Cards and Store Credit

If Horseford offers gift cards or store credit, additional terms may apply.

Any expiration dates, restrictions, or limitations will comply with applicable law.

18. Website Accuracy

We may occasionally correct:

  • Typographical errors;

  • Inaccuracies;

  • Omissions;

  • Product descriptions;

  • Pricing;

  • Promotions;

  • Availability information.

We reserve the right to update website content when reasonably necessary.

However, this does not permit us to retroactively alter a concluded consumer contract in a manner prohibited by law.

19. Website Availability

We aim to keep Horseford.com available and functional.

However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

The website may occasionally be unavailable because of:

  • Maintenance;

  • Technical problems;

  • Hosting failures;

  • Security incidents;

  • Third-party service disruptions;

  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue website features when reasonably necessary.

20. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Horseford.com and its contents are owned by, licensed to, or lawfully used by VilVid LT, MB.

This may include:

  • Brand names;

  • Logos;

  • Product photographs;

  • Graphics;

  • Website design;

  • Product descriptions;

  • Videos;

  • Written content;

  • Layouts;

  • Other materials.

You may use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.

You may not, without authorization:

  • Copy substantial parts of our website;

  • Reproduce our content commercially;

  • Use our branding in a misleading manner;

  • Sell or redistribute our website content;

  • Claim our intellectual property as your own.

Nothing in this section restricts uses permitted by applicable copyright or other law.

21. Reviews and User-Submitted Content

Where Horseford allows you to submit reviews, photographs, comments, feedback, or other content, you remain responsible for the content you submit.

You must not submit material that is:

  • Unlawful;

  • Fraudulent;

  • Defamatory;

  • Threatening;

  • Infringing;

  • Misleading;

  • Malicious;

  • Violative of another person's privacy or intellectual property rights.

By voluntarily providing content for publication, you grant Horseford a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and adapt that content for legitimate business and marketing purposes, to the extent permitted by law.

You must have the necessary rights to any content you submit.

22. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Horseford.com to:

  • Commit fraud;

  • Violate applicable law;

  • Interfere with website security;

  • Introduce malicious software;

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems;

  • Scrape or harvest information unlawfully;

  • Misrepresent your identity;

  • Infringe intellectual property rights;

  • Abuse payment, promotion, return, or refund systems.

We may restrict access or cancel affected transactions where reasonably necessary to protect Horseford, our customers, or third parties.

23. Third-Party Services

Horseford may rely on third-party services, including:

  • Shopify;

  • Payment processors;

  • Shipping carriers;

  • Warehouses;

  • Manufacturers;

  • Analytics providers;

  • Marketing providers;

  • Customer support platforms.

Third parties may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Where those third parties process personal information on our behalf, their processing is addressed in our Privacy Policy and applicable contractual arrangements.

24. Privacy

Our collection and processing of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

By using Horseford.com, you acknowledge that personal information will be processed as described in that policy and in accordance with applicable law.

25. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Horseford will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

For business customers, additional limitations permitted by applicable law may apply.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be restricted.

26. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Such circumstances may include:

  • Natural disasters;

  • Severe weather;

  • War or civil disturbance;

  • Government restrictions;

  • Transport interruptions;

  • Postal or courier disruptions;

  • Widespread telecommunications failures;

  • Cyber incidents outside our reasonable control;

  • Strikes or labor disruptions;

  • Supply-chain disruptions.

We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of such circumstances where appropriate.

Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

27. Indemnification

Where permitted by applicable law and particularly in relation to non-consumer or business use, you agree to be responsible for losses reasonably arising from your unlawful misuse of Horseford.com or your deliberate violation of these Terms.

This provision does not reduce or waive any mandatory consumer protection rights.

28. Governing Law

These Terms and contracts concluded through Horseford are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, subject to applicable mandatory consumer protection rules.

If you are a consumer residing in another EU or EEA country, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the law that would otherwise be applicable.

29. Disputes and Consumer Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly:

help@horseford.com

Consumers may also have the right to use an appropriate consumer dispute resolution body under applicable law.

The former European Commission Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform has been discontinued and is therefore not referenced as an active dispute-resolution mechanism in these Terms.

Nothing in this section restricts your right to bring a claim before a competent court or use another legally available dispute-resolution procedure.

30. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary where legally possible.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

31. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we waive our right to enforce it later.

32. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect:

  • Changes in our services;

  • Changes in applicable law;

  • Changes in our business operations;

  • Security or technical requirements.

Updated Terms will be published on Horseford.com together with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes will not retroactively alter previously concluded consumer contracts unless permitted by law.
